Willard Jones graduated from William Penn College in 1920 and Christina Henry graduated in 1921. They married in 1921. In the late 1920s Willard served as the principal of the Ramallah Friend's School. In 1936 the school was force to close when the Palestinians called for a strike against the British. The Jones returned to the US and worked at a school in Ohio during that time.
After World War II the Jones returned to Ramallah. They served in the Red Cross and helped start the East Jerusalem YMCA. William Penn University is very fortunate to house the items the Jones collected during their time in the Mid-East.
