Ask Us a Question

We want to provide a comfortable, inviting place to enjoy and learn. We have many spaces for students, faculty and staff to use. The first floor has seating, meeting spaces and individual study areas. Lots of group study activity takes place on this level. The library entrance and service desk are also on this level so there will be a certain level of respectful noise. If you require a quiet place to study the lower level is our quiet floor. Also, check out the individual study rooms on the first floor.

Library Assessment

Information about Wilcox Library's assessment activities can be found here .

We have laptops that check out for use in the library. We will hold your keys or a cell phone as collatoral. There are desktop computers on the main level and and on the lower level as well.

There is a scanner available for student use on the main level.

We have a black and white printer on the main level. If you need to print in color there is a color printer in the Electronic Classroom. You are welcome to use the color printer when there is not a class in session.

Foyer Gallery

The Foyer Gallery showcases the art of students, faculty, and other artists. The gallery is open during regular Library hours. The Fine Arts and Cultural Events of Mahaska County (FACE) arranges shows for the gallery. For more information contact Sue Van Wyk at 641-672-2690 or
